also, the ‘uncategorized’ name appears about the sidebar menu? how can i take it off? just want it to look like your example.

I’m on a roll, you know how you have ‘options’ – these seem to relate to which css file to load(?) is it possible to prune out the one’s not being used from header.php – for example:

Hello Kriesi,

I have had this theme since last year. After upgrading wordpress to 2.9.1, the drop down navigation broke.

On mouse over when page loads, it works find, but if you mouse over again, it does not drop down. It must be something in the CSS or Jquery that is not compatible with the upgrade.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Didn’t receive a response for #1. 1. I removed the search bar as instructed (mainly because I have several pages, and the menu ends up wrapping around to the next line which isn’t very attractive), but the menu still wraps around. It’s as if the search bar is gone, but the space that it took up still exists forcing the menu to still wrap around. How can I remove that space, so the remaining links can take the place of the search bar?

And was able to figure out #2.

hey i am having an issue with the return home link and border at the bottom of my services>photography page. i added html to it and it seemed to push it about 50px to the left. but its only on that page and im not sure y? Ive have messed with everything, cant quite get it. Thanks!

The theme looks very nice. I think I can use this for a coming project.

One remark though: When I navigate through the site and return to the homepage the rightsidebar (with latest blog posts) is positioned to the right (of course) bij also underneath the maincontent area.

My default browser is Firefox 3.0.12

In IE 7 .0 it looks fine.

Correction. In IE 7 .0 the page gets to wide and the horizontal scrollbar appears when I hover over the submenu under Blog (Blog – Dance)

pretty neat.. though definitely need a FULL WIDTH Page for those WordPress handicapped people.. like me.

I really like the theme, and bought it.

I had two small questions.

First, the front page you have two “blog” posts, each have a 125×125 sample image, well I can’t seem to figure out how to get those images there for my posts.

Second, if you look at the images in my slider, they all have a white line (about 1 pixel) above the images, in your demo it’s not there, any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

I have installed this theme on Wordpress 2.9.2 and pretty much none of the options work.

After following your PDF instructions to the letter….

The Slider does not display

The Quote Bar does not display

The Testimonial box does not display

The front page does not limit the number of posts shown no matter what you input.

The About Us page content gets replaced with all of the text from every blog post (this happens in your theme only).

Great template peex! very happy with it, just one question:

I uploaded on godaddy hosting, and everything looks good- except it is saying on my admin page that the theme is broken, and I can’t seem to resolve this issue. Everything looks good, but the functionality, i.e the jquery isn’t working. I checked the upload files, and the style sheet and script is there. Any ideas on what I should do??

I am currently updating this theme with few more addons will update this in 2 days. and will fix the current bug with the about author description on the homepage.

I’ve been trying to get ahold of the author of this theme with no luck. For some reason my blog posts aren’t showing up on my blog page. They show in the categories. Could the upcoming update address this and if so when is the update coming? Thanks!

If you make a post for the Portfolio category, how do you make the image appear in a lightbox (like on your demo)? Also if a portfilio post has more than one image, can the lightbox function cycle through each image?

Was just about to ask a question, but I figured it out before I finished.

Here’s my problem and solution if anyone else has this problem. The plug-in WP-PageNavi will make your footer disappear on the portfolio pages. So don’t use or install it on this theme.

Thanks for the great theme. Kindof wish that the contact form was built in already, but plugins work too.

How do I fix this so the slideshow will work properly?

Hi, I try also: look into wp-content/themes/photopurepress/js/custom.js line ~42, the only one commentend, just remove ”//” for the slideshow but it didnt work. Any other options?

- I love the layout and idea. Only the 280/280 tumbs are a bit to big. Is there a way someone custimice the theme with smaller post tumbs. 4 insteat of 3 and a bit smaller (210px) and also the text above them. (otherwise they are to big)

- I try to get the porfolio option to work, I add a post to the portfolio, it shows up on top the main, but no picture and when I click on it I get a error page, what did I do wrong.

I am wondering is there anything preventing me from putting the javascript in the footer rather than header? I am just concerned about SEO and loading that much java in the header will slow the loading down a good bit.

This is a great job. I have minor problem in the Home Page: The INTRO BOX ONE – TEXT is repeated in the other boxes. I however have different texts in each box. There is the same result on your live demo page.

1. It could be nice to have the slider going only forward. At this moment, after the 4th slide, it moves backwards to the first.

2. Could the slider image be changed to a bigger height?

2. Could some screenshots with the admin panel be attached pls?
