maybe i’m dense.. but ive spent the better part of 90 minutes looking at this code and trying to figure out how to change the bottom of the Call Us, Send Us, Stalk Us sections.

Is this information that needs to be changed in the footer page.. or is this something that needs editing somewhere else.

This theme has worked very well for the past 9 months or so… highly recommended.

I just have one quick question now: is there a way to hide the slide bar on the home page? I do not have any use for it right now.

I would like to hide the slider completely, so that the home page and side bar move up just below the nav like the rest of the pages.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the “lorem ipsor” text from the “contact” page. This issue is taking up so much of my time trying to resolve it. I have read the help file, I have looked through the files, but I can’t find it anywhere and really need to resolve this as soon as possible.

I have bought and applied this theme on Wordpress 2.9.2, but it’s useless if you also want to write posts for your website.

If you write a new post, and chooses it on the frontpage it only displays the 3 posts created for the slideshow.

And it doesn’t even diplays the three slideshow posts images properly too – but display them twice in each post.

This theme seems very buggy to me…

Within a gallery when you click on the thumbnail just the one photo shows and then you need to click on another thumbnail for the next photo. Is there anyway to make each individual post gallery on a slider so it is easier for clients to view?

This theme is full of errors, both on the admin side and on the front end. documentation is marginal at best.

Admin: them options page works erratically – sometimes options load, sometimes they don;t – you have to hit a “magic” sequence of options to get things to come up.

3. menus aren;t working on the front end – they maybe on the admin side, but the header.php file had to be manually changed for it to wrk.

lots of other “details”...

I’ve sent author an eMail hopefully they respond. Until then I would hold of on buying it…

Hi, I bought this template and am having a few issues customizing it, maybe you can point me in the right direction?

These are a few of the changes I want to make

-make the navigation font ‘Georgia’
-center the navigation menu bar rather than position it left
-remove the whole ‘You are here’ section entirely.

Can you point me in the right direction? I have been editing the Style.css to no avail.

Awesome theme! Nicely designed, great CSS structure. It’s very clean and precise, a real joy to work with. I have one question:

I’ve created multiple menu items that draw on categories to show only specific posts. For example, a category called “Training” shows training tips from a soccer coach, so I created a menu item called “Training” and it only shows posts tagged with that category.

However, the main menu item does not get colorized like traditional pages do. It stays white even when that category page is loaded.

On other themes, I could make a page that calls up that category and then it’s a true page, so it affects the menu. In this case, it’s a page using the “Page Links To” plugin to force the category-specific URL .

How can I make the menu items change to the normal “current page” color for the theme when that page is loaded?

thank you for the awesome template – i purchased it and am very happy. However, one thing isn’t working – the main page isn’t showing posts – it goes right from the introduction text to the footer widgets. Also clicking on the categories in the top nav menu also doesn’t show any posts (i have to click on tags to see a post). Am i missing something?

I don’t get it??? I’ve loaded three posts, but the slider image is not showing up on the home page.

Thanks for the fast responses. I would have thought that excluding the slider posts from the homepage blog is a very basic requirement. It means that whenever you add a new image it’s also going to be the top blog post – no matter where the image URL happens to point to on the slider.

It’s a great theme, but I think this feature could do with a little more finessing.

Hi, I try also: look into wp-content/themes/photopurepress/js/custom.js line ~42, the only one commentend, just remove ”//” for the slideshow but it didnt work. Any other options?

- I love the layout and idea. Only the 280/280 tumbs are a bit to big. Is there a way someone custimice the theme with smaller post tumbs. 4 insteat of 3 and a bit smaller (210px) and also the text above them. (otherwise they are to big)

- I try to get the porfolio option to work, I add a post to the portfolio, it shows up on top the main, but no picture and when I click on it I get a error page, what did I do wrong.

1. Our client wants to have the quotes to show-up with the feature photos too.. You know those where you have a layer of text infront of the photos?... without linking it to any respective post or pages.. S3slider seemed to be the one to replace your feature photos right? Where should I edit safety?

2. I had to mode and expand your viewable container from 540 to 640 as client wants to show more text. But you have short codes for 1/3, 1/2 where do I change those? to have them align according to new profile right size? .profilewrap { width: 640px; } .profileleft { width: 140px; float:left; }

Hi! Presenting this to a client tomorrow, but I just uncovered something… Looks like the top nav display for child pages is to show the title to the right of the parent (w/in the nav). Is this the only option?

If that’s the case, then the nav slides back and forth, which isn’t optimal. Please tell me there’s a drop down and I’ll see that choice when I buy it?
