I have one more doubt. Can we modify the code to get such kinda of functionality ..

About is the page Title. We Highlight it on the Top menu bar, In the sub-header and again show in above the page content.

If I click on any of the subpages shown in the left and want to go back to the About main page, the only option is to click on the menu item .

Instead, can we modify such a way as shown in the image.

I want to remove the page title above the page content and have that put it as a link on the sidebar.

Before I purchase this one, I’ve got a bit of an odd request/question I need to confirm first:

Is it possible to have specific pages appearing in a particular colour?

ie. Home page in the default purplish-colour, but the ‘about’ page in the red, the contact page in the ‘blue’, etc..

I appreciate it may require some additional coding, but I was wondering if it were possible at all (if so, how)?

It’s one of the main requirements for the site I am about to start. Everyone loves the design and wants to go ahead with it – I just need to confirm there is a way to specify specific colours for specific pages/categories/etc..

Ok—so have to say disappointed here.

Have used wordpress many times before and this is the first time I come across a theme that does not let you create a menu natively!

I have pages already created that I wanted to connect to through a menu… and can’t do!

Why was this not mentioned in description—that we can not create a very basic thing such as a menu.

How can I go about this?

How to disable the easiest way lightbox in portfolio gallery and to make links with pictures? I mean how to change:

Thanks for the fantastic theme (and your help so far). My site is almost there, just a few tweaks and it’s done.

I’d just like to know how to make a gallery of images from one thumbnail using ‘fancybox’ with the next and previous buttons. This would need to apply one of my ‘project’ pages, not the blog.

Is there any provision for adding more than one image with custom fields (project_img) when creating the post, or is there a different way of doing this? I’d also like to add a caption too.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Never mind the “Choose Category to Join” problem above. I have been staring at the screen for too long. Because I was only using pages, I had no posts in the other categories, thus making the other categories not active. All is good now.

Yes, I have. I’m trying all possible solutions. Like I said I really like this theme its just a little frustrating right now. I dummied another theme and the TimThumb worked fine, so I know its not that. Was there an update that I’m not aware of. I even tried re-downloading it and its still giving me issues.

Nice theme, couple of pre purchase questions aplogies if they sound silly Im new to WP.

-Rather than portfolio we want to feature products, can we change the nav item portfolio to ‘products’

-From this page can we make it so the ‘visit project’ button reads ‘enquire now’ and this opens the contact form prefilled in with the product title as the subject?

-We want to feature partners on the homepage using the 4 images which are currently taken up by Latest News, when clciked on it would open up a page similar to to the layout of is this easy to do?

-Are we able to add a banner below Latest News and above the footer on the home page, is this easy to do?

Hello - I have purchased this theme but am running in to a few critical errors that are preventing me from deploying it.

First, it completely breaks any embedded videos I am using the plugin Viper’s Video Quicktags:

Second, NextGenGallery is not functioning like it used it. When you click on an image, instead of sitting on a new layer above the page, it simply load the image in the browser.

I am guessing there is a javascript conflict. Do you have any ideas where this may be happening? (BTW, all site caching is turned off when I am testing it.)

EDIT – I discovered the problem – a plug in I used to speed up CSS JS loading was causing problems: CSS -JS-Booster

Hey Uni, First off, absolutely amazing theme. I had about a dozen themes on here I was considering purchasing for my portfolio redesign that were similar to the layout & design that I had already designed and I chose yours for a few reasons:

• It wasn’t the same layout, but it seemed fairly easy to customize from the looks of it
• The full-width slider is sexy
• Your support is absolutely amazing
• Your layout & design skills are very good and will save me so much time!

But to the point:

I’m having an issue with making new portfolio posts. I watched your video, and my wordpress backend does not look like yours (completely). I am missing the “Post Thumbnail” option on the right column as you can see here:

I was able to add images to the post via the “Insert image” area and they rotate through the gallery like they should, but there are no thumbnails being created. I am using Wordpress version 3.0.1 on a fresh install (local) with only your theme and no plugins.

@peter79 – the reason the Nav bar was out of place is because we both had long names for site title. I shortened mine and the nav bar is back at the top. You could mess witht he CSS to get it working with a longer name.

Also, does anyone know how I can get the [plugin name] to stop showing on my pages... sorry I'm new to WP

and: in ..\domino\admin\options\general.php, insert a line $options = array();

But it did not work. The error messages keep appearing. I put the lines exactly where you said. any ideas?

ps: The only plugin that is enabled is Akismed If I disconnect it the domino admin disappears

Is there a limit to how many items can be included on the home page slider? For one of the sites I’m working on, I have EIGHT different sections that I’d like to highlight—if one wished to click-through all of them… Possible? (I always see about 3-4 in template samples.)

Im having a few issues with the portfolio:

1. same as many here the main image is only showing a revolving circle trying to load the image, thumbnails are there although not cropped well. —-i have ensured that permissions are 755 and that image size is over 600 px in width.

2. Blue button at the bottom of the portfolio isnt showing any copy. eg. it shows up as a circle only and no link is active for it. thoughts?

3. How can i embed a vimeo video in the portfolio images?

I was about to pop that code in when i realised that there a function right at the bottom of functions.php that explicitly removes pages from the search results so i just removed that and it start working as expected.
