also how do we go about re arranging pages like home / about / services / and so on.

Nice theme. I’m stuck on a couple of things.

1. I need the top horizontal links to be to my static pages (i.e. About us, contact NOT to the blog categories)

2. Is there a way to make the slider on top display static data (i.e. a group of tabs / images that are fixed instead of reflecting recent posts)

3. How can I eliminate the slider from the inner pages? (i.e. show only at home)

Theme was purchased not by myself but I’m doing the implementation.

Anyhow I have a question in regards to the thumbnails and the main scroll bar on the front page.

I post an image to the custom field ‘image’ and it shows up both stretched out in the main scroll, as well as to the left of the post below (I have it on both).

What I’m wondering is how to set it up so that the main scroll bar image is different than what you have left of the post .

In your theme example you have a different image for all 3 areas.. both main scroll, left of the post, and in the post itself.

Quick update for everyone. I have updated the theme to work in wordpress 3.0 and have added the use of the new wordpress 3.0 menu system for the main navigation.

The new theme is currently in the uload queue but if you have bought the theme and would like the updated version please send me an email.

@peter79 all three plugins have been installed from day one. I follow the install doc to the “T”. I’ll try to remove them and reinstall.

TheOnlyOne; I had that problem, clear the html out of the text box and it should go back to transparent back ground.

jwnewhouse; You have to install all 3 plugins to make the site run correctly and also have to check the side bar function for each page and post individually. its under the post body box.

I have a problem which I have seen on several other sites using the same template where the navigation tabs on the home page are out of alignment. on the theme demo the navigation bar is up the top and in line with the site name see –

On the version I have set up the the navigation tabs are not in the right position.

I have checked this and it does not seem to be a browser problem

Some small bugs/feedback:

- Dashes (-) don’t appear in the page titles, just a blank space - How do I change the font color on the front page? I can’t find it in the CSS or the options - How do I change the size of the titles on the home page? I’d love to make it small enough for all the titles to fit completely.

Does your website support or offer shortcodes?

Further am I correct in so far as with this theme you need an image attached it to in order for the home page to look right when it shows each post…...without images it looks broken at the post because there’s the corner of where the image should be.

Expensive site theme if with every post you have to add an image for the sake of it. Why can’t a blog item just show as such without it showing on the home page and pleeding for an image in the image holder!?

Just the theme I’ve been looking for

Had some trouble with the Restaurant Theme Settings page in admin. It showed only the tabs (no options), as someone else mentioned, and produced Javascript errors. It seems to have been caused by the php short tags ”<?” instead of ”<?php”

It failed to load the 5 javascript files as the URL wasn’t correct. eg: Firebug spits out the URL as:

<?=get_bloginfo(‘template_url’)?>/backend/js…..

Did a Find and Replace and all is working as planned now

Hi Redfactory,

I have managed to sort out the previous questions I had regarding the theme, so no need to answer.

However, I have a new question that may, or may not be a bug… I am trying to utilise 3 columns on a full width page and have followed the instructions in the documentation, but there seems to be an extra paragraph being entered at the top of each column which is forcing each column to start lower down than the previous column.

I have provided a link to an image of what the problem looks like.

I am developing the site in a MAMP environment, but if you need to get access, I am prepared to upload to a development server online.

• THEME BROKEN – STILL WAITING FOR HELP …PLEASE. I notice a LOT of people have run into the problem with the image/slider not working. I’ve followed every step carefully, I’ve contact host to confirm proper PHP and GD, I’ve reinstalled twice and still no slider. I have a cache folder with proper attributes, an uploads folder, the works. Any suggestions or help would be great. Even if you ran into the problem if you could share your fix. Thanks so much!
