WP 3 .0.1 Upgrade broke the theme:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare is_rtl() (previously declared in /home/username/mydomain.com/wp-includes/locale.php:347) in /home/username/mydomain.com/wp-includes/locale.php on line 349

At this point, I can’t even get back to the mydomain.com/wp-admin page.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Another question: how do I get the page title to show up in the reserved header area? The pages with the “posts” on them display the title just below the accordion, however any other pages I have created the area is blank.

I have another issue. How do I assign posts to the blog page?

I set posts to “blog” in my admin and left the main page without assignment, so that it would render the main themes page.

Unless I’m missing something, I don’t understand why developers either miss this step or make it difficult to move the blog posts to a blog page. Please let me know.

Hi, can I limit the number of posts in the ‘portfolio’ section? much like the news section where the number of posts per page is selected via the WP admin panel. is this possible on the portfolio section as well?

Also, can I rename the theme folder so long as I leave the css attributes?

I just purchased the template and am in the process of setting up the site – questions regarding the “main” menu.

In the admin panel, I clicked into “Appearance + Menus” and automatically see and error message in the top of the admin window which reads:

Went to the payment section (I had a verified by visa virtual credit card generated online via my bank account),then comes up something to the tune of ‘post the 4 digit paypal verification number sent to your card statement to link the card’....So I check my card/bank statement online and there’s nothing there.Thats it.Full stop.Game over.No purchase. You gotta get this thing sorted out.First I log in to my bank account with my username and password to generate the virtual card and then after everything was going smoothly,this thing happens.Ive purchased other stuff using google checkout and never had a problem. Sigh…

Sorry I can’t edit the comments – The fix to get image wrapping for this awesome theme is to add this to either the css file (Sergey, perhaps you should include this) or just add it to your “custom css” setting in the control panel.

Turns out the problem was with the post expiration date – setting it to ‘0’ doesn’t work (at least making it unlimited – it made the posts read as expired). I set it to 30, and now they’re showing up no problem.

BUT …i have a new problem…now the ADD NEW ENTRY function isn’t working! I click the button and nothing happens! Infact, after clicking it I am unable to click anything else on the site unless I reload. Very strange.

One other issue…

I’ve created the featured category for the homepage slider, loaded up some images etc and everything works great. But because I want my homepage in blog format the featured slider posts also show up in the homepage. Yech ! Looks stupid.

I tried to exclude the category by tweaking the index.php, but that just disabled the images going to the slider.

Is there a way to stop the slider posts appearing on the homepage blog area ?

Can I check if anyone having problems when the blog post being displayed as with the short codes seen instead of showing the post wrap in the short codes?

Meaning I see things like [onehalf] something [/onehalf] instead of it showing up as something.

It only happens when the post is being displayed as partial text. If I go into the post then it’s fine.

Yes, Its like The slide show is on www.example.com but the home page for instance is named www.example.com/?page_id=6, so it doesnt show on the home page. its like it thinks that the home page is an another page i think but whatever content that is on www.example.com is on www.example.com/?page_id=6 which is the home , except for the slider so its very weird. what can i do so it doesnt read this way?

Hi Manu,

Firstly I love the theme, although as I am a novice I have a few problems that hopefully you can help me with.

1) I followed the procedures for keeping the footer at the bottom and I can not get it to work.

2) I can not seem to get any of my images to show in the nivo slider. I have added nivo to the category followed your documentation and really am stuck now!

3) I can’t work out why the Portfolio category is not on my home page,

I would appreciate any help.
