hey i am having an issue with the return home link and border at the bottom of my services>photography page. i added html to it and it seemed to push it about 50px to the left. but its only on that page and im not sure y? Ive have messed with everything, cant quite get it. Thanks!

Hi Epicera, I tried emailing you a while back, but I did not get a response from you, I’m sure your insanely busy!!

I’ve scoured the discussions here and also read a bit on the wpcodex, but I’m still not seeing good way, especially with the dark atlantica theme to avoid wp’s automatically defaults posts to the homepage,

Is their a way to make the homepage static, but have all the posts and commentary along w/ a recent blogger to wordpress merge, fall under my BLOG in my navigation.

I would want to keep the twitter and email column under the Large slider for the homepage still. I don’t want to have to create another HOME page.

Let me know if this is possible with this theme, and what the code might be in the header.php or template?php. thanks for your help in advance.

I am having a hard time uploading videos in my blog post. When I upload them it just displays the text for the title. If I click the post title it goes to the post page and displays the video fine. The question: Can I post video on the home page?

Thanks for this great theme.

However, I can not get it to work. I mean, WordPress and the theme are installed but I can’t get any images to work. I honestly don’t even know how to do it…

What I want is really simple, I just want to use the slider on the homepage as a gallery for photos of my new house.

Do I create a new POST for every PHOTO I want to add and put it in the “showcase” category?

If so, how do I get the full size image in the featured box? What I’ve done so far is create a new post, add the custom-field with the right source and thats it but not even a thumbnail shows up.

I uploaded on godaddy hosting, and everything looks good- except it is saying on my admin page that the theme is broken, and I can’t seem to resolve this issue. Everything looks good, but the functionality, i.e the jquery isn’t working. I checked the upload files, and the style sheet and script is there. Any ideas on what I should do??

For those who are having the problem of front Slideshow disappeared after uncommenting the ”//” at wp-content/themes/photopurepress/js/custom.js line ~42

The trick is to also add a coma ”,” at the end of containerClick: false ( the code on top of autoStart: 5000.

Seems that if gettopup the site is down, the theme takes forever to load, and the gallery pop overs do not work.

Great theme. One curveball regarding video in the portfolio. Menu items appear on top of the video. Additionally, the ‘close/exit’ button at top right of the video doesn’t work. This is problematic in all browsers

Otherwise this is a very solid and well executed theme. Loads very fast! Be far the quickest and easiest portfolio set up I’ve ever seen. Nice work.
