I’m a new DIY for my website, and I just purchased this theme. Could someone walk me through how to change the “QuikTab” text in the header? I don’t want to replace it with an image, I just want to change the “QuikTab” text. I can’t figure it out! Thanks.

After I bought this template I spent HOURS trying to figure out wordpress and how to edit the template.I didn’t want to bother you but since my knowledge is limited to XHTML ,( NO PHP but I can catch on if you guide me) and I’m not familiar with WP I am not sure how to make certain pages into blogs and some as regular pages, like you have set up. Sorry if I make no sense I’ve had no rest

The instructions I assume are for people with knowledge of php and WP and that is why I am BEGGING for assistance IS there a more detailed list of instructions in regards to how to edit b/c mine looks like crap

I don’t regret buying it at all and I’ll recommend it, I just would like to use it

I want to make this theme appear purple all the time, and disable the option for people to change colors. How do I do that?

I am interested in this theme but want to know if it is capable of having two columns, one being the content column and one being the sidebar on right. The content column would feature a featured post, then underneath it, I want to display a split column for news and deals.

Can this be done? Or would this take too long to accomplish…?

Thanks for the theme – it’s exactly what I was looking for.

However, I am having some trouble with the “stock” images showing up once I install the theme. I have tried installing it both ways: through the WordPress admin panel and through an FTP upload.

On installation through WordPress, I get these errors:

I need to remove the blog features from the template. I’m looking to remove the “no categories” from the navigation menu and to pull the “from the blog” out of the sidebar. What is the fastest way to remove these?

The current version of wordpress is 3.0.1. I’m waiting to purchase but will hold off until it’s verified to work with 3.0.1.

Like a few others, this theme would not work for me. I’m using WordPress 2.9.2 so it’s not a V 3 .0 compatibility issue.

For anyone else with FTP issues, or issues getting the theme activated ….

There may be a file permission issue somewhere as the style sheet cannot be read, the theme preview doesn’t display, and the even when the theme is activated there’s nothing but a white screen of death on the frontend.

I changed the theme folder permission to 777 and everything then worked (I’m on a local/dev server). Hopefully @LayeredPixels can look into it and advise.

I just compared the way the theme looks in Internet Explorer 8.0 and Safari 4.0. In my Safari browser the home button shows up as a link and is clickable but in IE it’s just plain text. Can you fix this? Also, the spacing between Home and About is smaller than the spacing between the other lines in IE.

One more question, on a wide screen the background does not continue all the way to the right. Can this be changed in the CSS file?

Hi, if I add any javascript to the header or footer area, the ajax stops working and the nav links load the actual pages (e.g., instead. I’ve tried adding my javascript snippet above and below the jquery and just before the closing body tag; I’ve even tried using a plugin to inject it. Any suggestions on how I can work around this? If you would like to know about the snippet of which I’m pasting in to the code here is an example, it’s for setster.com:

Very nice theme by the way. I’m having trouble with the slider though. I can’t for the life of me get more than 3 images in the slider. Each time I try to save it with more than 3 it just redirects me to the main settings page and when I go back to slider it still only has 3 images in there.
