I can’t seem to get the showcase pages to show up on the Portfolio page. I have selected “Portfolio” as the parent page, but have yet to see any of them show up when I view the Portfolio page.

I read that someone else had the same problem, and fixed it… but without posting the fix.

Any help out there?

Hi, i bought and installed Sofa Strict Business theme and seems to work fine except for one thing: I can format my content fine (spaces, line breaks) but when the content includes some html, i loose all format. Whether i include a link (like mailto:) or images (that a script places on the left side) all format is lost, lines appear without any spacing.

Is there a way to fix this locally? or is it a template issue?

Hi again madmenwalking. purchased Benzo today and tried to install it in WP 2 .9.2. WP said that it was installed but that the style sheet is missing so it’s now stuck in my ‘broken theme’ box. All other themes have loaded in just fine. Any idea what I should do?

Sorry—yet another question. I’ve fiddled around with the logo quite a bit, and while I’m happy with the current set-up, there’s a line appearing below the menu bar that is not the same color as the menu. Any idea which file this is connected to so I can change it? Or, where it’s located in the CSS ?

I purchase this theme a little while ago. How do I get the thumbnail images to show with the four posts below the Featured on the home page? I activated the setting in the HD Panel. I tried adding custom fields for thumb and imglink in the post’s custom fields (from TimThumb help page). No success. What am I doing wrong? www.bdwilliams.com

Thank you for this site – it’s very nice. Can you tell me how I can make more of the Item Description black bars. I am adding a post to the Portfolio page, so if I add an Item Description it goes at the top of the page. That is good but I also want several other Item Description bars further down the same page (to break up the content). How do I do that? Thank you

In the “categories” box on the right side of the news section, how can I get rid of one of the categories? For instance, the photos that are featured on the home page are in the “featured” category but that is the only things in that category and I don’t want people to click on it just to see the photos.

Hi,

I’m considering buying this great looking theme, but have a few questions.

Can I change the “timing” of the drop down menu? It took me a while to realize that it actually had drop down menu because you have to hover the mouse over the item for about half a second before the drop down activates.

Would it be hard to make the homepage slider automated? I’ve found out that very few people click on these sliders if they are not automated, I have stuff I would like to show. Or, can I make what is viewed in the slider random – so that they get statistically equal attention?

This should be added to the instructions:

If you install the theme like any other, it won’t work. You will receive stylesheet broken and you won’t be able to activate the theme.

What you need to do is unzip the Imagination.zip file in the theme files folder. Once you do this, don’t install the “theme files” folder. Open it up and then drag each file (select them all using control + select) into the main imagination theme file (not into any subfolder).

Now, you should be able to open up your theme.

Bluz, I’m not sure why you didn’t include this in the step by step instructions. Thanks to the original commenter who led me in the right direction.

Having a couple more problems I’m hoping you might be able to help me out with?

1) The pretty photo code doesn’t seem to be working. When I click on an image in the portfolio it opens on a new page instead of the lightbox.

2) When trying to produce sub page portfolios, items are not showing on the correct page. I have a post called address that is in both the ‘portfolio’ and ‘recycled plastic’ categories. It shows on the main portfolio page but not in the recycled plastic sub page.

Any help you could offer would be fantastic.

Hi, my drop down menus are not working propoerly in IE8 . The menu doesn’t stay down so that you can click on a link to another page.

How do I get the 3 sections on the bottom of the home page to show up? There is nothing about that in the instructions and I’m new to Wordpress. This is the information in the divs with the “bottombox” class. Other than that, so far, so good on my first Wordpress site and theme.
