Need som help on getting the pictures showing up as thumbnails an as a slide.

From my view IВґve followed the pdf-instruction, but obviously IВґm doing something wrong…

Can anybody explain it even more “folio – for – dummies”. I+ve used the timthumb scriot in other wp installations but it doesnt seem like the script for making images “timthumb-ready” does it work.

Can we change the color background, font and font color and size? Can I add a drop down menu especially for the gallery section. And I can get rid all of those stuff under the big centered picture on the homepage. I really like your theme but I was wondering if I can change the homepage to something like this . I want something that flashes several pictures in one box continously and effortlessly like that one. Also can I remove your gallery plugin for another one for the portfolio? Thanks

I really like the look and feel of this theme. Just a couple of questions: Would it be possible to include a full width page template? (no side bar)? Secondly, in all honesty, I think this theme would sell a lot better if the price was lower. I’m not saying whether or not this theme is WORTH the price tag – I understand how much time goes into creating a theme – but when COMPARED with what some of the other themes with the same price tag has, one couldn’t help but think the price of this theme could be a little lower. That is the only thing that has been holding me back from purchasing since the beginning. I think had it been put out as a $20 theme I would have bought it without batting an eyelid and be more than satisfied with the value. I would suggest perhaps negotiating with Themeforest about it – just a suggestion, please don’t take this as a criticism. All the best.

I have worked out all of the customization issues but once I moved the theme to its final home on another server it fell apart.

The images are not loading in the slider and thumbnails arent working.

The whole text from the post is trying to fit into the slider and the background on the individual post pages is shifting up.

I hope that you will finally answer one of my questions, I saw that you answered questions on another one of your themes 4 and 5 days ago.

If you are not offering support on this theme, please just specify that.

It’s been a week since I posted my question, In the interim I have sent a private message here and on your windows live email, I need to get the answers to my questions if I am going to be able to use this theme.

In my email message I updated my request with just needing help moving the slider image to the right and down a bit …..like I did with the showcase buttons by padding right 30 px and padding top 16 px

Still need help with centering the navbar and the footer widgets are cutting images that are put there using a text box. The images 145px long and they are being cut off – need to know why?

I would really appreciate it if you could respond as soon as possible.

Hey faiqfardian,

First off, cool theme! A client of mine purchased it and I am now installing & modifying it for him.

The last thing I have to do before I finish is get jQuery Lightbox working on the gallery images.

My only problem is I can’t seem to find the code snippet to link to the original image uploaded, instead of the resized image provided.

Instead of:

echo $attachment large url

I need:

echo $attachment original url

or something similar. Think you could point me in the right direction?

Hi,

do you have any idea, why the starting page shows the scrollbar of the browser (Windows, Firefox 3.6.8, screen resolution 1680×1050 px)?

When users now use the scrollbar of the browser (instead of the scrolling arrows of the theme), they see 4 and a half pages and – additionally – 2 page headlines without images.

But if they use the theme’s arrows to scroll to the right, not until after 2 times of scrolling, the browser’s scrollbar at the bottom disappears.

This is only a phenomenon of the starting page.

By the way: my general Wordpress settings for “reading” are set to “50 posts”.

wow – reading thru the comments again looking for answers and now I’m surprised how many comments go unanswered. I will think twice about buying another theme from this author. I love the design but now I’m afraid I’ll never get any answers. And the help document is ok but not great. It seems like Akay has checked out (last response was a month ago and the 2 month before that) – so if you buy this theme I guess you don’t really get much support except from all the comments. I hope I’m wrong. He said over 5 months ago that he would be updating the functionality of the slider to allow for links to pages and not just posts.

Has anyone else been able to figure out how to make the home page slider link to pages or urls and not just a post?

@petterberg Hello! Try to make steps from pre-previous my post about WP3 menu system. You’ll be able to create your own menu. Even without links – just create Custom Links and keep URL area empty.

I have one question.

I am making a photo gallery page. What i would like to do is when u see all the pictures in my gallery (made with the option to insert the gallery using the insert gallery from the insert pictures mode) and click one picture to have a page that has more pictures of the same picture and some text.

So far when i select to show the attachment page option it shows me the specific image post url – but how can i add some text and more images to that post url?

Hi, can you answer a few questions please before I purchase this…

1) Can the post slider on the main page rotate text widgets? I’m a s inger and want to have an mp3 playlist on the homepage at all times in one of those 3 areas.

2) If not…would it be possible to put the playlist in a post, not have a picture (so the post on the homepage is effectively the playlist)..and also have that post stay on the homepage at all times? – not get pushed back when i make new posts.

I am having a lot of difficulty to get my contact form to work. It displays just fine and everything works except for when I click the submit button it just says sending and nothing happens. I want the menu links to be aligned to the right, while staying in the proper order from left to right. I have experimented with doing a float: right to #menu ul li – and it floats it to the right but then all the links get turned around in backwards order.

I was wondering, like the sidebar on the right, is it possible to add a sidebar on the left below the navigation bar?

Furthermore, in order to have transparent areas on the website, I’m using the “opacity” property in the color style sheet. This is causing my entire website to, well, become transparent. I was going through the entire discussion and checked they are using an image as the background. I tried to do that, but my website doesn’t retain the transparency. have also used a background image instead of the opacity property, but when I tried to do that, i lost the ability to leave my navigation bar/content area rounded.

How am I able to get the transparency that has while maintaining the rounded corners?
