Thanks for your previous help Kayapati. I am now needing to add additional top navigation buttons. Seems like there is a parameter limiting them to six (6) or to a specific total width.

Can you help me resolve? I’d like to add a top navigation page. It seems like I am required to have at least one navigation category. Can this be changed as well?

After about 3 months of looking I finally decided to buy Clean Blog for my new blog. I loved it and nothing seemed as functional or as ‘clean’!

Anyway, I’m a toal novice [previous blogs were on Blogger] so I’m hoping you can help with a few issues I’m having.

1. How do I get the tabs along the top that you have on the the ‘Clean Blog’ preview?

2. I have tried everything but I can’t get the featured category field to work.

I am having issues with the theme rendering correctly. I’m using WP 3 .0.1.

The navigation menu is displaying in two halves stacked on top of each other in the slider space, and the text from slider posts are displaced below the slider background.

This site is now live and have since found a far bigger problem than the revolving images sticking….

The menu (drop down) appears in the wrong place on a PC machine and not on a mac, if you can fix this ASAP it would be much appreciated…

(EXAMPLE) the ‘accomodation’ drop down text appears underneath the sunday text?

I love using this theme.. right now my main content area is misaligned, please ignore that. My problem seems to be that when using Chrome and Opera, the comment font gets larger with each new comment. At the very last comment the font is so large it is silly.

I noticed that the RSS says but I’m not actually using the NextGen gallery.

I can’t seem to find how to turn on the regular RSS feed for the rest of the site and the “news” blog page.

Can you let me know what the code would be—I can re-insert it, or modify code if needed.

@Azisbak: the blog BG is the default jpg of the theme and yes the portfolio is the first post for know because of the loadingbar issue ;-( if this porblem gets fixed I will to try rendomise this. If disabled the thumbnails for the time know.

Sorry found it …. Setup Thumbnails can be done by going into the post and at the bottom right hand corner there is a Post thumbnail section that allows you to choose from the gallery/upload the thumbnail.

You should try contacting him via the contact page instead as the comment sections.

1. I’m still having problems getting the arrows to show on the homepage slider. The suggestions you gave to previous posters haven’t fixed it for me.

2. I’m not getting any widgets to show up on the “About” page, despite adding a custom field as instructed.

3. The tooltip when hovering isn’t showing up on the homepage.

Hi there Just purchased this, having a few issues:

1) Can not get the slider to show anything. I created a category called Home and added the post Our boat to the home category, told the headline category to display home and nothing shows up!

2) If I choose to show ALL Categories for the Featured 1, 2, 3 etc, and show 4 posts, blog posts show up on the left on the home page. If I choose a particular category for Featured Category 1, etc, then only the category name shows up, not the blog posts underneath – you can see that now.

3) I have corrected the “Looking Something” which is incorrect English and changed it to “search” on most pages but in which page in editor do I do that for blog posts?

4) If we use an image for the logo, what are the size requirements?

5) When writing a page, carriage returns are ignored unless I place
in the html..is there a way to get paragraph breaks on pages? Sometimes this seems to be happening on posts also after ordered lists…

6) On the home page, can I control that sidebar on the right? I don’t want so much stuff there.

7) Finally, when a post is small but the image is tall, is there a way to get the background to stretch around the photo? It looks terrible – the see the my dog post

Hi,

I’m considering buying this great looking theme, but have a few questions.

Can I change the “timing” of the drop down menu? It took me a while to realize that it actually had drop down menu because you have to hover the mouse over the item for about half a second before the drop down activates.

Would it be hard to make the homepage slider automated? I’ve found out that very few people click on these sliders if they are not automated, I have stuff I would like to show. Or, can I make what is viewed in the slider random – so that they get statistically equal attention?

I recently purchased the imagination WP theme, and I’m loving it, however I can’t see to get the images in the slider to display.

I’ve tried everything and followed the instructions exactly, however when I view the link location of the image on the home page, it shows the source as being through timthumb.php?src= and the image won’t display.

To the author – there is a problem with the blog archives pages. They will not seperate the posts per category but show all posts in all categories regardless of the category chosen.

Can this be looked into?

Excellent theme!

I however, can’t seem to be able to view anything in the slideshow, in the “Designer Folio Options” page, on the “Slideshow Setting” section, I’ve added a created category for displaying, then I created a post and added a “thumbnail” custom field with the link (verified that works) to my uploaded image (and selected the appropriate category), but I still see an “empty” image placeholder instead.

Does the image need to be a specific type? (i.e. png only) or is there something else that I am missing?

OK, Not much time to spare, so I just bought the template ion good faith.

I also sent an email to the support address you’ve provided to others.

What I want is to have teaser blog content on the homepage WITH the default homepage header and rest of the layout.

I’ve tried just editing Reading Wordpress settings and when i add blog as a static homepage, I lose the layout.

I tried Wordpress Reading settings again and the option: Front page displays “Your latest posts” doesn’t seem to work at all with this template.

I also created a page and added it for the THEME Option “Main Page Content:” but that seems to be only available for static pages.

Maybe there is a line of code I can add to the static page that will pull all blog content to the homepage and keep the layout as-is???

I agree with yamon…. This theme looks like it is amazing… but it is hard to see. It is so dark. If you make your live preview version a more corporate style, it will sell more… based on statistics.

Hi,

Well, the theme was working fine and I decided to add another “tutorial” and make it featured. So, I went ahead, wrote my post up and ensured “Tutorials” was checked and the subcategory was checked as well. I went ahead and set the featured image and added some excerpt text. I went to publish it and now the “Featured Area” on the home page does not work. the sidebar does not display and the footer doesn’t display either. I removed my post to see if there was an error there and the problem persists. So I added my post again and still no change. The theme doesn’t work anymore. You can see it here:

Can you please take a look and see if you can pinpoint what’s wrong?

Hey there. I noticed that there is a sliding transition which is set to work automatically for the featured area, and then a fading transition which is set to work when the user clicks the buttons. Is it possible to use only the fading transition for both? Also, can the featured posts link to pages instead? Best, O

I’ll have a look, it’s just the way the script is made I think. The featured posts can link to pages, but would have to be tweaked. (I can help with this for free though)

Thanks Phi, figured that part out.. one last question for you though. I have altered the colors of the theme and therefore need to change the text color to make it readable. I have figured most of it out with one exception… how do I change the color of the “drop shadow” effect that is placed behind my text headers? i.e. look at this iimage:

I cannot seem to find it in the css file. I can change the text color yes, but not the shadow underneath it.
