Hi,

Congrats on a great looking theme!

A couple of q’s before I purchase:

1. Can text be added to the home page in addition to the gallery?

2. The demo home page has a Vimeo video, and then many thumbnails that open in a lightbox. I need to keep the look of those images, but have each one open in a lightbox with a video. Is this possible?

In contrast, can the “read more” button be removed if the post is short and fits within the size of a normal excerpt on the homepage?

There’s now an update available. Just go to your download page and download again to get the update.

• IE7 fix: Added padding-left: 9999px; to #search input.ssubmit in css/ie.css
• Layout fix: The list item bullet behaved strange if it had children – Fix: Changed background: url(images/list_item.png) no-repeat left center; to background: url(images/list_item.png) no-repeat left 12px; on .widget ul li in style.css
• Bugfix: When entering " or ' in the Theme Options Panel it will be outputted as /" or /' in the theme – Fix: Added stripslashes. Changed files: 404.php, footer.php, index.php

Hello, Love the theme. It has been an easy template to develop. I have run into some issues though.

1. in the home page content boxes, once I add an URL for the ‘view more link’ this is the path it defaults to: “http://www.creativelifeflow.com/Place view more url path” with a page not found error. I have put a correct URL link there, but it doesn’t go there.

2. I do not wish to use the “latest news” link in the top navigation (fyi: I have changed ‘latest news’ with ‘articles’). When I put an exception to hide that category in the top navigation, it then puts “no categories” at the top. How do I get rid of this?

3. How do I get rid of the weird characters that get added if I use an apostrophe. for instance: Prep & FAQ \’s I have just eliminated using the apostrophe for now, but would like to have the option.

I cant even get the template to download. I keep getting an error about 25% of the way through the download. I did the stupid thing and purchased the template without reading this thread. Now I am questioning my purchase.

Wondering why the theme will not allow for bullets, indentations and other paragraph formatting of text? You can see it in the “VISUAL” tab, but does not show up on the blog when published.

Just wanted to comment to all that this is a pretty good theme, dispite my comments. It displays well and really only needs a bit more instruction to cure the minor problems.

I recommend this theme as long as the author provides better instructions.

FOUND MY PROBLEM I just had to upgrade wordpress. Figures they have to have an upgrade a week before I update my theme lol.

I’m getting a called to undefined function error when installing this theme: Fatal error: Call to undefined function register_nav_menus() in C:\wamp\www\balistreri\wordpress\wp-content\themes\dowdle-quickstart\functions.php on line 132

I looked through that .php file and the function isn’t defined anywhere.

Also, one question about the top page slider – I notice that none of the images in the preview you’ve got actually link; it’s only when a user clicks on the text link for the image that there’s a link. Can you confirm: a user can click on an image and have that navigate to a custom page? Thanks…

I have another question,

How may i increase the ammount of space allowed for an image on the home page slider static 1 setting.

There is not a lot of space just under the ‘show them your work or project’ text.

As you can see, how may i add more space, for example have the image moved up a bit..

Please advise?
