I just bought this theme. It looks like a perfect fit for our needs.

Just installed the theme through the ftp. I can see the preview in the theme section. When I click “install” or “preview” the page goes blank.

I have done several wordpress sites before so I know I am installing the theme correctly. Is it possible it isn’t compatible with certain versions of wordpress? Do you have any other guesses why this would happen?

I have activate the theme and I am going through the steps. In step three it says, “Pages: Select the pages that you want to add to menu then click ‘Add to Menu’ ”. I have no pages that come up? There should be custom page templates for portfolio, blog, news…. right?

I love this theme. I got it when I purchased the Envato Birthday Bundle. Because it came in the bundle, I have to download the bundle as a whole, and as a result the update doesn’t show up in my downloads section. Place your photo in your post as well – so you’ll have the image in your post and an image in your custom field (thumbnail).

When you install the pixelblob theme and you activate it, on the left side you should see a panel called “Portfolio”.

If you click that panel, you will see “Portfolio Categories” – this is where you need to go to add categories. Be sure to create 1 category called Portfolio, as this is key… this will be your main page category when you add a menu option at the top for Portfolio, and like their demo, they have assigned portfolio items to Portfolio category, as well as Web Design category, so you can see some items on main page of Portfolio…

first of all – Love the theme.

second of all – Suggestion (why is the theme so web design, or-that type of business-centric. I am using this for a retail store, and at first look I rejected this because of that notion… just a thought.)

maybe its just me. but does anyone know where I can find info about setting up the portfolio page. I did everything that theme asked me to do (with the help of images). Did I miss something?

more compliments I like how there is not an additional tab for this in the dashboard but just the word “settings.” Smooth! I like the twitter FIX a lot! I love the whole widget flexibility. Not a huge fan of the color scheme nothing that photoshop and illustrator can’t fix.

I purchased this theme and have been setting it up, and I’m nearly complete. I just have a few issues to be sorted out:

1. How can I remove the Twitter links on the about page? Not all of the people listed on that page have Twitter accounts and if I leave the field blank it creates a link to nowhere

2. The “website” field on the contact page says “unspecified”

3. Logo isn’t centered. I’ve entered the correct logo dimensions into the “settings” page.

4. I thought the bug fixes in the 1.2 update might fix some of these issues but I updated the theme to 1.2 and in Wordpress it still says 1.0. In style.css it says version 1.0 as well

Thanks for your help. This is a great looking theme and I can’t wait to iron the kinks out!

I just compared the way the theme looks in Internet Explorer 8.0 and Safari 4.0. In my Safari browser the home button shows up as a link and is clickable but in IE it’s just plain text. Can you fix this? Also, the spacing between Home and About is smaller than the spacing between the other lines in IE.

One more question, on a wide screen the background does not continue all the way to the right. Can this be changed in the CSS file?

On the homepage in the 3 boxes, I’m trying to insert a youtube video into the area however only the code appears.

When you view the post which makes up one of the 3 homepage boxes the video shows fine.

Do the homepage boxes throw out any embedded youtube/shortcode?
