Hi, Support I do not want to use WordPress? or say my hosting company do not permit Third Party Apps on their server? Can I still use this template as a normal web template? Encoporate PHP and also, how does the banner at the top work? Can I simply just update the jpeg image and the top banner automatically update? Does the content boxes automatically stretch depending on the amount of contents on them?

How do I remove shortcodes from the excerpt showing on archive and search result pages? Some of my posts have images at the top of the post, and the Caption shortcode is appearing.

I’ve tried entering the following into the functions.php

function remove_shortcode_from_index($content) {
  if ( is_home() ) {
    $content = strip_shortcodes( $content );
  }
  return $content;
}
add_filter('the_content', 'strip_shortcodes');

I’ve tried guessing and changing the is_home to is_index and is_search, but neither worked.

Can you help? Thanks.

Is there another sample blog that used this theme that I can take a look at before I purchase it?

I love the theme and am excited to use it for my website. However I am having issues with the featured section.

Currently I have 3 articles.

2 are sticked and the third is tagged as “featured’ but is not stickied.

It will not show up in featured though.

I have tried making additional test posts (though i had to delete them for now). To see if I needed more posts. But it did not work.

I like this very clean template. Thank you. I am a little lost on how to make the slider appear. I created a category called portfolio with a post in it that has this code: [port_big]/img/banner01.jpg[/port_big]. That does not seem right. I do not see any custom field areas as the documentation mentions.

Also, what is the portfolio id for the settings page? I do not understand this comment either.

Thirdly, how do we get the tri-column affect you have on the screen shots at the bottom of the main page? I like this idea but also can not see how it is created.

Great Theme!!! I love it, hands down! I just have one question/issue….things are doubling. Example, on my contact page, the “Locations”, “Phone Numbers” and “Contact Form”, populate twice. Do you have any suggestions on how I can fix this.

Having some issues here, I have tried to install the theme via the Upload button within wordpress, and as well trying to upload manually. However I’m not getitng the same images as your providing. I don’t get “Flex Options.” I just get Flex. As well when I press Flex. I get broken images where the Admin control panel images are suppose to be. Such as Design Settings, Suffle Link and Social Media. Also like to point out in the image you provided, its just Design Settings and Menu + Social Media, so I don’t even have Menu!

I am using Wordpress 3.0.1.

OK, Not much time to spare, so I just bought the template ion good faith.

I also sent an email to the support address you’ve provided to others.

What I want is to have teaser blog content on the homepage WITH the default homepage header and rest of the layout.

I’ve tried just editing Reading Wordpress settings and when i add blog as a static homepage, I lose the layout.

I tried Wordpress Reading settings again and the option: Front page displays “Your latest posts” doesn’t seem to work at all with this template.

I also created a page and added it for the THEME Option “Main Page Content:” but that seems to be only available for static pages.

Maybe there is a line of code I can add to the static page that will pull all blog content to the homepage and keep the layout as-is???

I think you have a problem with le last version of your template with the facebook icon for example if you choose the white theme because the images aren’t present in the right folder.

I have boon working on the standard internationalization of your SQUARED3 theme. I have warped all the phrases into the .php files with the gettext __() and _e(). I have also translated then into Spanish respecting the WP rules, and put an es_ES.mo file into the theme folder.

The bad new is that I couldВґt make it work yet, I mean the phrases in the theme stay in English…

If you like, I can send you the whole work, if you want to take a look on it. Maybe, with some checks, it could be working, and you can offer your theme prepared for being translated almost automatically.

I have one question, as I am not an experienced css coder!

Is it possible to modify the main navigation menu to have two rows. The top row would be in a larger font than the one underneath.

here is what I’ve got so far…

I would like to draw the viewers attention to the main categories on top, and then have a smaller menu with less important pages in the row below it.

Could I accomplish this simply by adding text to the header somehow and hand coding the links?

I still love the theme and I think I’m getting somewhere now!

Might be having a blond moment but I cannot work out why I’m not getting images on my posts?

I have urls in thumbnail image, banner image and portfolio settings. I had had the posts on portfolio style but I have changed that (turned it off). I know the image is recognised as it is on the homepage slider.

Can you please advise me on what I should have done? Or be doing?

Also, am I right in assuming that the timthumb script works automatically, as long as there is a url in the appropriate box?

Finally, you mentioned that you have an update. You also said it could be problematic for some if settings and code have been changed. However, I seem to be struggling on setting up the blog. Perhaps I’ve done it already as I have a post! However my point of asking is that if the update clarifies the blog page, can I upload just the appropriate code? At my risk?

Just to clarify, my (only) post is listed at the base on the domain front page with an image.

I want to add “Blog” to the menu but cannot seem to link the posts to the blog (when I have tried).

Also how to do I get domain.com to link to domian.com/home?
