WP 3 .0.1 Upgrade broke the theme:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare is_rtl() (previously declared in /home/username/mydomain.com/wp-includes/locale.php:347) in /home/username/mydomain.com/wp-includes/locale.php on line 349

At this point, I can’t even get back to the mydomain.com/wp-admin page.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Another question: how do I get the page title to show up in the reserved header area? The pages with the “posts” on them display the title just below the accordion, however any other pages I have created the area is blank.

I was wondering—I’m using the “fade” option for the graphics on the home page. Is it possible to adjust the length of time each graphic is visible before it fades to the next one?

I have a similar question about the Services page – What category is the accordion looking for? And lastly, a similar question about the social media links icons… Am I missing something there? I manually created them, but I would like to know what the dashboard social media links does.

Also, as a note to you about your theme: I have put it into wordpress 3.0 and with just a few changes, modified it to work with the wordpress Menu editor (new in 3.0). I created 3 menues, 2 for in the header and 1 for the footer. By using your javamenu css, i didnt even really have to change anything to get the drop downs working.

It is an easy and very useful change.

Hi – Nice theme!

I quick question: how do we set what post category is used for the homepage slider? I cannot seem to get it to use my category. I have tried putting the category ID into the settings field “Category Handcraft Home Page Articles ID” – but it seems to make no difference.

as you can see – the slider is attempting to pickup all of my pages…

EDIT – If you visit my site, you will find that the isue seems fixed – I actually hard coded the category ID into home.php… Still want to know what I was doing wrong so I know.

thanks for the reply – although I dont think I have fully understood the relative paths option – I asked if you could tell me where I add this? as in the HTML option tab in the posts I cannot see where I add these?

I’m sure there must be a fix as other themes I am using use the timthumb script and run fine and the hosting is on the same company and setup so hopefully I can get this working as the client has been waiting for such a long time now, he loves the design and I dont want to go back and say I need to change this now. :o)

if you could help me find the answer then hopefully I can leave you alone ;o) Or indeed is there anyone out there that has had this issue and remedied it easily that can help????

I am in love with this theme – and thanks for making the code so easy to follow . I’m not a WP expert but it’s all looking good for me apart from a couple of confusing things… I have read through this forum but can’t see the answers:

1) Accordion Images I can’t see how to get the image on the accordion to appear at the correct size on the accordion AND to appear without being chopped on the post page. Accordion likes 640wide but main content area is only 560wide. Am I missing something? The first slide has the correct width on the page, but this makes the accordion image too small. The other 3 are fine on accordion but chopped on the post page.

2) Portfolio & Social Buttons Is there an easy way to stop SexyBookmarks (or any other social sharing plugin buttons) from appearing on the portfolio Galleria pages? I want social stuff on normal posts but not in the Portfolio Galleria.

Ok I have figured out how to get another sidebar on the pages, but I am having difficulty putting it on the right side? It wants to be at the top of the content?

And the follow us (grey area) isn’t pulling in the images, we changed it to professional associations and added different images. It worked for a day but now the images are not there?

I am having 2 major issues with the footer of this template. Please go to hudackdesign.com/jim

1) The 3 teaser boxes at the bottom of the homepage are overlapping. I imported the XML file you provided in the documentation and that’s how they appear. I am unable to fix them with css. Any idea what’s happening here?

2) Also, I want the teaser boxes to only show up on the home page, but they are showing up on all pages. How do I turn them off so that they only show up on the homepage?

I was able to install everything and get it all up and running with no issues, but I am having a problem with the images in the footer of the home page. I imported the XML data that came with the template download…if you go to hudackdesign.com/jim you can see that the 3 tease boxes in the footer are overlapping. I have been unable to resolve this issue with css. Can you tell me how to fix? I have not altered the footer file in anyway, nor have I altered the p-box or p-box last div styles.

Also, I do not want these 3 boxes to show up on all pages, just the home page. Is there a setting I can change to turn them off on all pages except for the home page? Or a link of code I can comment out?
