Does anyone know if this theme is fully compatible with Wordpress 3.0?

Hi, I would really appreaciate if you could offer some help with the UL / LI CSS issue in the eMotion theme, the theme’s stylesheet is overuling list styles in the footer area. I can’t have a single widget with UL/LI elements working with this theme. Thank you in advance. Ex: I installed the “Sidebar Login” plugin and there are two links between li’s “Register” and “Lost your password” and they are not showing up, just like the Gigpress widget content.

(The other issue with the 960 grid has been “solved” by eliminating the search box completely from the alt-footer, not ideal, but best I could do since I did not manage to move it around.)

Help please with the CSS issue in this theme! Thanks again.

Hi there – I’m thinking of buying this theme – just wanted to check something first… the main background images and headlines etc in the “slider” on the front of the site – do they have to be blog posts or is it possible for them to be referring to / linked to static pages, and not necessarily have blog posts linked at all? (The reason is that it may be for a corporate website that is more about informational pages than blog posts…)

The second one is concerning blog functionality – once there’s no post (intentionally) it shows in the top menu “no categories”, once there is a post (either categorized or not) – the button is added. Don’t want to have there neither or above mentioned … can you help?

Is there a way to remove submenu items from showing up in the drop-down menu?

I know I can turn off top-level menu items from showing up under Theme Options, but I’d like to turn off a submenu item while maintaining the top-level item.

I went in to nav.php and attempted to add ‘exlude=pageid’ into the mix, but that didn’t work.

Any ideas?

I really love his template. I have used it for a client and they love it as well. It’s still in development and so far I have been really happy with its performance over these several weeks.

Although yesterday…I came across a rather distressing problem.

THE PROBLEM : The homepage template is fine…all the images and content show up. BUT …on the internal pages (both posts and pages) none of the template IMAGES show up. That includes the background, the header logo or any other added images in the body of the page. They all dissappeared. I’ve tried to move the images and update the urls. This did not fix the issue. (This problem popped up out of nowhere. I haven’t done anything to cause it.)

ATTEMPTS TO FIX IT : Because I am not sure what is different in the code of the internal page templates and the home page template…I decided to setup a new WordPress (3.1) site and starting transferring my data manually, by copy and paste and installing new plugins – thinking that I could isolate the problem that way.

Well…everything transferred fine, and images all appeared after I manually setup all the pages. But then, towards the end of the day, the same problem occurred. All of the internal pages are missing their images.

I am not sure how to fix this and I am at my wits end. What would make only the images on INTERNAL pages disappear?

Can you help me resolve this? Is it possible to contact you by email?

I need to resolve this for my client soon.

I purchased your theme. It’s great… I have problems displaying images on the feature slider as well as in the front page second column bottom section. I’ve already added a custom field “image” and “value” = the link of the image as described in your readme file but couldn’t get any of it to show up. Could I still be missing something?

A couple questions—

1) Similar to Blog Wide/One Column Page, is there anyway to have a Post Wide/One Column Post? My content is very wide in my posts and the sidebar is in the way. I have tried to use Custom Post Template and create a wider post..but in all honesty I have no idea what I’m doing. Any suggestions?

2) I noticed the Main Page news posts have a “read more” to the right of the content, along with the news posts with a ”+ read more ” and “read more” in the bar below the content. How do you do this?

3) How do you remove the up and down arrows from the portfolio/news pages? I find it unnecessary as its right next to the scroll bar.

Is it possible to have the home page look like the “Product Display” page from your sample, but with the following tweaks… 1) show the slider at the top instead with those same 6 categories/icons as below, and 2) have the links in both sections go directly to a page and not to a post?

My client wants the home page to showcase the same list of services (or products in your sample) in both the slider and in the body of the page below. But, it won’t be a blogging site so there’s no need for the posts (although that’s where most of the functionality comes from). My various combination of settings with the home page / slider / and featured pages just aren’t working. If I pull in a page that’s using the Services template through the Page Attributes widget, the top half of the page shows up, not the bottom half with the icons that I want.

I was able to install everything and get it all up and running with no issues, but I am having a problem with the images in the footer of the home page. I imported the XML data that came with the template download…if you go to hudackdesign.com/jim you can see that the 3 tease boxes in the footer are overlapping. I have been unable to resolve this issue with css. Can you tell me how to fix? I have not altered the footer file in anyway, nor have I altered the p-box or p-box last div styles.

Also, I do not want these 3 boxes to show up on all pages, just the home page. Is there a setting I can change to turn them off on all pages except for the home page? Or a link of code I can comment out?

Page content is not aligning properly.

I have tried a left and right sidebar option but it seems the #content div flows in the middle of page.

I currently have the sidebar set for the right. But the sidebar still loads to the left with the content in the middle of the page.

We are using the Olive color scheme.
