Does this theme have options to create “full width” pages?

Hi, I’m having trouble getting the theme to load properly. When I activate it, it just shows as a blank white screen. I set up the pages prior to activating the theme and it just shows a blank white screen still. Can I get some assistance? I love the theme but can’t get it to work. Thanks!

I have 2 more things and I should be finished.

1. I went into the style.css and did what you said:

style.css and find this piece of code somewhere on line 166 /* --- Spotlight / Slider --- */ #spotlight { width: 900px; overflow: hidden; background: url(images/bg-spotlight.jpg) top right no-repeat; position: relative; } And re[place it with this /* --- Spotlight / Slider --- */ #spotlight { height: 315px; width: 900px; overflow: hidden; background: url(images/bg-spotlight.jpg) top right no-repeat; position: relative; }

And still no go, the images still get cut off as soon as the text ends, as you can see here:

2. Do I have to change anything to make the page I designated to be the home page template show up as the home page? When I navigate to my directory without specifically typing in the designated home page’s permalink, it directs me to: by default. Which I have deduced is what is written in the index.php file. Do I need to change anything in that index.php file?

Thanks again for all your assistance in this. As I said, your template is wonderfully documented and your help file was very easy to follow.

Never mind. I sorted this out just after I posted it in Dreamweaver. Did not realize some pretty simple stuff. Sorry for the interruption.

Now also the pages loads much faster then before…

I just downloaded SAA _V4 and the sliders won’t work as Webfire.

Here is what I am facing.

If I entered any nymber in : Display Time Per Slide, the slider will be blank. Removed the number, left it blank, the slider shows.

I tried 3 servers, and no avail. Perhaps I cant understand the help.txt ?

I am frustrated.

Hi

I’m having some difficult with Nexgen gallery on your theme. The image galleries dont show up properly and the lightbox feature also does not work.

However if i deactivate the theme and go to the default 20ten wordpress theme, everything works fine. Switch back to Lavan and it no longer works.

Any solution?

ok, I try to explain better…

pratically don’t work the wordpress functions “featured” for article used for mantain an article at the first place. I think don’t work because the”blog” and his child categories are Categories in blace being pages.

the questions is : Can I have a post featured in a category page? I try without succes.

On the blog page under categories, how do i remove certain categories from displaying?

Example.. I have a blog category ‘slideshow’ that i’m using for the home page feature, but don’t want that listed in the categories on the blog page.. how do i hide it?

Also, when i click on a category on the blog page, all posts display and it turns into a regular page template with no categories on the right..

I have created a page using the Blog template that I have called Case Studies. When I go to post to Case Studies nothing appears but when I post to the Blog page and Case Studies then the post appears on both pages. Why can’t I post only to my Case Studies page? Please help.

Yes basically it will be two blogs. One I use for doing case studies on clients. The other I use for normal blogging. Is this not possible?
